- Power rating. Each pump has a power rating provided in kilowatts. It determines if the pump’s motor will run on a single phase or three phase electric power supply.
- Head. This is the pressure rating provided in meters. It is a measure of how high the submersible electric pump pushes up a given volume of water vertically. I am in the process of drilling a borehole at home, Siaya, currently at 54 ft, but I anticipated it will go to between 60 ft and 70 ft.
My preference is on a “hybrid” if such exists for a submersible water tank to supply two 1 BR Units, and a tank, 3000 lt.
