Wilt the forage to 30% dry matter (DM)
Chop the forage into short lengths (1–3 cm)
Compact the forage as tightly as possible to remove air
Cover the forage with a thick plastic sheet
Weigh down the forage
Wait for the forage to ferment

Corn (maize), Sorghum, Alfalfa, Water hyacinth, Jowar, Bajra, Napier bajra, and Guinea grass.
